I’ve been in LA for the past 2 1/2 weeks and I still have 4 weeks until I return home to Northern California. Why you ask? Im enrolled in a  6-week intensive acting course here in Santa Monica. Besides missing the hell out of my two loves (hubs and the pup), my time here has been wonderful. If you’ve never been to Santa Monica I highly suggest you visit… and SOON! The weather is beautiful, the scenery is to die for and every time I step outside I’m surrounded by people running, jogging, walking dogs, riding bikes, doing yoga in the grass, you name it. People here can't help but get outside and enjoy the sunny days and beach breeze. My second day here I jogged around the area to check it out and get familiar, I stumbled upon Montana St. where I found Primo Passo Coffee Company and Marmalade Cafe, two of my favorite places so far. The fact that I arrived on Grammy weekend made for a fun few days. It was like celebrity city everywhere you went! Im not one to get star stuck (I mean, they are just people like you and me, besides being flawless and oh so perfect right!? psh…whatever.)

They have a local farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays just a mile from where I'm living. I bought a month of yoga at Hot 8 Yoga right off 2nd street. I make my way to the Santa Monica stairs almost everyday, where I'm pretty sure every person in LA comes to workout because its always packed. I found a Planet Smoothie on Wilshire!! Its an east coast smoothie and soft serve bar!…Soo… needless to say, I’m in love. From the Brentwood Country Mart to the 3rd St. promenade to the organic burgers at Burger Lounge, this place has it all. If and when hubs and I get a place in LA, its safe to say I know where my heart is…
