Last week I attended the grand opening of PLATFORM in Culver City. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend you check it out. The structure is amazing and the shops are to die for. Everything from high-end athletic apparel at KILTER to everyday wear at VELVET. If you're a coffee snob, you'll be happy to find Blue Bottle Coffee and for those who love a sweet treat, check out Van Leeuwen Ice Cream (with multiple vegan/GF flavors made from scratch!!).

The two  founders of this new and exciting development are Joseph Miller and David Fishbein. These guys being only 29 and 32, make me more and more impressed with my generation of dreamers. With Culver City being the next up and coming area in LA, the residents are in for a treat! 

Platform has a little bit of everything to make your day complete. I was able to try the carne asada tacos from LOQUI which were delicious! Apparently they are known for their tortillas... yum.
BLUE BOTTLE has the best natural lighting and lounge area both upstairs and outside...and the almond milk latte with a touch of agave is something to try. 
SAO ACAI was handing out mini signature bowls. The acai blend is one of the best I've tried in a long time!
Besides eating my way through... I stopped into a few shops... including KILTER and PARABELLUM. Lets just say, if I could... I would have bought one of everything!
